Seagrass is one of the many beautiful untouched sights along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, a serene coastline in North Carolina. Enjoy this abstract interpretation of nature's art.
While exploring the coastal areas of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, I came upon a large area of natural seagrass. Have you ever looked closely at seagrass? There are many beautiful colors in each blade; when they come together as one, it is art.
In my photo, appropriately named “Blurred Lines,” I use a long shutter speed while deliberately moving the camera with a creative technique in photography known as intentional camera movement (or ICM). In doing so, nature rendered a stunning impressionist, abstract or minimalist image from this memorable moment.
