When I reflect on this peaceful spring day, I recall the sweet golden light from the sunrise and how it cast a warm glow on the beautiful grounds of the Magnolia Plantation, a historic home and gardens located near Charleston, South Carolina.

In this scene, I especially love how the oak tree gracefully moves its branches to reach for solid ground below. Perhaps it inherently understands to lean on Mother Earth to help support its aging life and limbs. Springtime is such an enchanting time of the year to visit the low country of South Carolina. For many, it's home.
